Proposal Requirements & Guidelines

Please make sure to review all submission requirements and guidelines prior to submitting. Submissions that do not follow all of the guidelines will not be reviewed.

  • Maximum Session Presenters: Proposals should include no more than Four (4) presenters (excluding chair or commentator role)
  • Rule of 2: No individual may submit or be a part of more than Two (2) proposal submissions (excluding chair or commentator role)
  • Confirm Presenters: Proposals must have approval from all individuals listed in a proposal prior to submission
  • Proposals must include:
    • Individual information including name, contact information, and organizational affiliation
    • Selection of Member Interest Group Track (primary and secondary)
    • Selection of Member Interest Group Track Keywords
    • Title, Short description (up to 50 words) and Brief Abstract (up to 1,000 words)
  • Presenter Registration: If your proposal has been accepted, each presenter must register for the conference. ILA does not pay presenters honoraria, reimburse expenses (e.g. travel, lodging or copying), or waive conference registration fees.
  • Proposal Deadline: The submission deadline for ALL submissions was March 1, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST (Washington, DC time).
