The ILA is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) on the Kenneth E. Clark Student Research Award. CCL is a top-ranked, global provider of executive education. The award is named in honor of the distinguished scholar and former Chief Executive Officer of CCL and recognizes outstanding unpublished student papers on leadership or leadership development.

The winner of the annual award will receive

  • $1,000 cash prize

  • Travel, Lodging, and Complimentary Registration to ILA’s annual conference

  • Complimentary 1-year membership in the ILA

  • Recognition at the conference and in various multi-media publications

The deadline to apply for this year’s award is July 15. Read the complete call for submissions.

Both the ILA and the CCL are committed to creating, collecting, and disseminating leadership knowledge, practices, and research. So it makes perfect sense that we would partner on the award.—Terry Price, ILA Board Member and Strategic Initiative One Lead

CCL is honored to partner with the ILA in recognizing outstanding student scholars of leadership and leadership development. Both organizations believe in the importance of connecting research to practice and in recognizing future leaders in the field.—David Altman, CCL Executive Vice President, Research, Innovation & Product Development

The Kenneth E. Clark Student Paper Award will offer students an outstanding opportunity to showcase their thoughts on leadership in the presence of ILA members and leadership scholars who have paved the way for students to continue our education in the field of leadership. Best wishes to students around the world vying for this distinguished award!—Natalie Coers, Leader of ILA's Student Affinity Group
